2016 Call for Nominations

The ASPHO Nominating Committee is soliciting nominations for candidates for Vice President, Board of Trustee, and Nominating Committee elected positions.
Available positions are Vice President, two Board Trustees-at-Large and two Nominating Committee members. Please consider nominating yourself or another qualified member for one of these leadership roles. The elected candidates will take office at the close of the 2016 Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
The Vice President will serve a two-year term (2016-2018), serve as President (2018-2020) for an additional two-year term, and then complete their service as Immediate Past President (2020-2022) for a final two-year term.
Trustee-at-large responsibilities include policy setting, strategic planning, stewardship of the Society and its assets, and program planning. The Board meets eight times per year by conference call and twice annually for 2-day, in-person meetings. The two elected Trustees-at-Large will take office at the close of the 2016 Annual Meetingfor a three-year term. View current Board of Trustee members.
Responsibilities for Nominating Committee members include soliciting nominations for officer, Trustee-at-Large, and Nominating Committee positions and developing a slate of candidates from among those nominations. The Nominating Committee's work typically entails one annual conference call as well as calls and correspondence with selected candidates. Each Nominating Committee position is a 3-year term.
How to Nominate
The ASPHO Nominating Committee requests that all nominations be as complete as possible. For each nominee, submit a completed nomination form (including the nominee's name, current position and academic rank, areas of interest, ASPHO involvement, professional activities, and qualifications) along with their bio sketch. Members may nominate one or more members for each position, and may choose to self-nominate.
