Objectives
- Provide a resource to the ASPHO community for practice management guidelines and collection of practice-related data.
- Provide a resource to fellowship programs and program directors for strategic planning and implementation of accreditation requirements (including ACGME, ABP, ERAS, NRMP), enhancement of fellowship education and curriculum development, and communication between subspecialty organizations.
- Provide a resource to the ASPHO community that supports professional development at all stages of career and enhances networking opportunities among members.

- Identify/discover the most critical problems in practice and bring forward a plan to address those (1 Year)
- Practice Committee to review AAP practice and coding resources and seehow can be adapted/extracted for ped hem/onc (1 Year)

- Identify needs in early career development (including fellowship) and address in existing ASPHO annual programming (Young Investigator Workshop, Symposium, Career Luncheon, and Coffee Corner). (1, 2, 3 years)
- Create, monitor and evaluate Mentoring Program. (2 years)
- Identify needs in mid/late career and address issues in ASPHO programs and publications (Annual program, Webinars, Diversity corner, website resources). (1,2,3 years)
- Address ways to enhance diversity within the ASPHO community.

Committee Charges (One Year; 2-3 Years)
- Assist ASPHO program directors in navigating and implementing the new accreditation system (NAS).
- Ensure timely dissemination of information to programs on specifics of the NAS.
- Create and gather best practice approaches to the Milestones and the NAS for use across programs
- Work with the Practice Cmt to address workforce issues
- Provide oversight for activities related to match (NRMP) and ACGME rules and requirements, and will represent Pediatric Hematology Oncology on the Council of Pediatric Subspecialties (1 YR)
- Develop shared resources for the core competencies of SBP/PBLI, emphasizing quality improvement. Specifically a list of potential QI projects and a QI curriculum will be developed (1 YR)
- Develop educational curriculum for fellowship program directors as a shared resource. Specifically will complete a career curriculum, and will pilot both a communication and a humanism/professionalism curriculum.
