ASPHO is committed to helping our members advance their careers and broaden their professional opportunities. We offer a number of resources aimed at increasing your professional exposure and development. Connect with others in your profession and work together to create a positive change in the pediatric hematology/oncology field. Certification
ASPHO works with the American Board of Pediatrics to provide resources and study materials for the pediatric hematology/oncology subspecialty to maintain your certification through MOC learning sessions at the annual meeting and the PREP Self-Assessment Program.
Fellowship
Your fellowship experience is important to your career. ASPHO provides valuable resources to help guide you through your fellowship training. Fellows may also join the Early Career Forum in ASPHO's member community.
Training Directors
ASPHO provides a forum for pediatric hematology/oncology training program directors to share information and resources about individual institution programs, curriculum, and training issues. Training directors also may join the discussion group in ASPHO's member community.
Mentorship
The ASPHO mentoring program provides pediatric hematologists/oncologists of every career stage the opportunity to connect with senior clinicians and researchers in the profession.
Awards
The annual award program honors outstanding individuals in the pediatric hematology/oncology profession. The Distinguished Career Award, Frank A. Oski Lectureship Award, and Young Investigator Awards are awarded at the ASPHO Conference.
Residents and Students
Pediatric residents and medical students can learn about a career in the subspecialty by joining ASPHO, attending the annual conference, and participating in other Society programs.
