A 2‑Year‑Old Girl with a Right Mandibular Mass
Clinical Presentation
A 2‑year‑old girl presented with fever and cough and was diagnosed with streptococcal pharyngitis. She was started on antibiotics, and during her physical examination an incidental right mandibular mass measuring 4 cm × 2 cm was noted. The mass was soft and nontender. After completing the antibiotic course, the mass remained unchanged in size. She was subsequently referred to ENT, where a biopsy confirmed desmoid fibromatosis.
Which genetic tests should be considered when evaluating a patient with desmoid fibromatosis?
