Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Special Interest Group
The mission of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) Special Interest Group is to support, educate, and encourage members in striving to provide the highest quality and safest care to our pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
Goals:
- Promote academic and scientifically rigorous quality improvement work in the practice of pediatric hematology/oncology.
- Connect members doing similar work across institutions within a collaborative community.
- Provide guidance and networking opportunities for those who wish to integrate quality improvement and patient safety into their career path.
- Build skills to shorten the gap from research to implementation by sharing and learning from each other’s experience and approach to implementing new standards of care into individual practices.
