Clinical Immunology Special Interest Group
The Clinical Immunology SIG’s mission is to support the advancement of ASPHO members and the field by facilitating the incorporation of clinical immunology into the practice of pediatric hematology/oncology.
Goals
- Increase awareness and understanding of the immunological basis of disease presentations, therapies, and complications in pediatric hematology/oncology practice
- To provide education regarding best practices in the diagnosis and management of immunological disorders
- To create a platform for the development of collaborative clinical trials and research in patients with immunological disorders
- To partner with other relevant societies that will foster and further the mission of the Clinical Immunology SIG
